If you are taking a virology or microbiology course I would strongly recommend that you get a copy of this book as a reference regardless of what textbook your instructor uses. Many of the illustrations are bland and monochromatic – there is very little use of color for a textbook this expensive. This, again, left me feeling like this book was incomplete.
