Sadly, for Red, she wasn’t the lucky gal She lies, deceives, blackmails, digty trips, manipulates Whereas, Olivia is much more complex character and all her lies and schemes left me more shocked. But it just feels wrong On one hand it is a critical part in a 5-star series, but on the other hand we are following the villain, the person standing in between Caleb and Olivia. Her eyes chase to the four corners of the room, and I know she is looking for him.

I still like him and I was glad to get some answers about why he did things as well. I really didn’t care much to read how she felt during fisber procedures, at work or on a dates with Caleb, because as I recall, Olivia could read her like an open book and she was spot on.

And somehow, despite content I’d normally write off as too melodramatic, Tarryn Fisher manages to have that quality in a writer that keeps me reading; she’s good at making these awful characters interesting.
